Resurgence is a contemporary art exhibition and will be held at Langstone Gate, Solent Road, Havant, PO9 1TR
The exhibition is hosted and sponsored by Seaward Properties and celebrates of the launch and regeneration of Langstone Gate Building, a landmark building in Havant. www.langstonegate.co.uk
The launch date is the 14 June 2007 from 5.30pm to 9.30pm and the exhibition runs until 29 June 2007, Mondays to Saturdays 10am to 4pm.
Seaward Properties, who are developing and managing Langstone Gate Building, have commissioned an Art Exhibition to showcase the building and the work of contemporary artists.
The exhibition will cover 3 whole floors of the building and also run throughout many of the corridoors and staircases. The building provides large open light spaces, most of which will be newly refurbished.
The Resurgence Exhibition offers artists a unique opportunity to become part of this large and highly contemporary exhibition and be part of the evening launch event. Apply to Exhibit.
Hosted and sponsored by Seaward, and supported by Havant Arts Centre, www.havantartscentre.co.uk the launch event will include an official opening, dance performance, collaborative exhibitions and exhibition talk.
The evening will also include a visual and music performance by local band Helsinki, with visual element provided by local "VJ" artist, Denise Callender.
The launch event is expected to attract hundreds of visitors to see both the Artwork, the performances, the talks and to view the building.
